He’s 101 years old and gives credit for his longevity to smokin’, drinkin’ and wild, wild women.
But that might not work for everyone.
Fitness involves much more than going to the gym and eating your veggies. Fitness starts in your mind. There is so much evidence now of the mind-body connection that right now we’re only going to acknowledge that it is real. Just know that your mind needs to think happy, healthy thoughts and we’ll leave it there for now and pick it up again later.
Go back to what they taught you in grade school: you need good food, exercise, fresh air, adequate sleep and sunshine! Yeah! It’s that easy. So how do you measure up?
On a scale of 1 – 10 rate the following for yourself (10 is the best):
Good food (balanced with protien, fat, carbs in proper proportions)
Exercise (when’s the last time you did any?)
Fresh air (does going from the house to the car count?)
Adequate sleep
Sunshine (Again, does going from the house to the car count?)
